We began creating art glass in 1990 both traditional leadlight as well as obtaining the NZ rights to Stained Glass Overlay (SGO). The SGO network and materials were originally based in California in the USA until around 7 years ago when the largest decorative glass company in England purchased the brand.
To the above over the years we have added sandblast etched glass, colour painted splashbacks, warm glass, and even a little woodworking often combining one aspect of our art glass into the pieces of furniture.
With the ability to communicate via the internet today, we have created projects that have shipped as far as Hong Kong, Tahiti, and many of the other Pacific Islands, thus whilst Phill and Sheryl’s studio is located on a lifestyle property South of Whangarei today, much of his art still end up in Auckland and South as design work and communication via email is very much the norm.
The process to arranging your own piece of art glass is simple, whether it be an entranceway, skylight, feature window, splash back or something else the process to commissioning your own piece of art glass is simple – just click here for an explanation or you can get in touch by filling out the Contact form.
We also work with two other studios, in the Waikato and Wellington with the SGO product, along with Etched glass and other art glass processes.
